Instructions
Step 1: Bake the Cake

- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the cake pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
