Ingredients
  

Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish and sprinkle marshmallows if desired.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg on top before baking.
