Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 2 lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 lb chicken breasts
Grains
  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 2 cups quinoa
Vegetables & Canned Goods
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
Sauces & Broth
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
Dairy & Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (optional)
Spices
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef or turkey until browned; season with spices. Divide into 5 portions and freeze.
  2. Cook brown rice and quinoa separately; divide into 5 portions and freeze.
  3. Slow cook chicken breasts with broth and spices; shred, divide into 5 portions, and freeze.
  4. Simmer mixed vegetables, black beans, and diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning; divide into 5 portions and freeze.
  5. Cook pasta, add marinara sauce, and portion out to freeze. Prepare scrambled eggs with vegetables and cheese, then freeze.
