Ingredients
  

Pasta and Meat Mixture
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can (15 oz) oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 unit onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tsp teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cups breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tbsp tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until soft, then add ground meat and cook until browned. Mix in tomatoes, soup, vegetables, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine cooked pasta with meat mixture, transfer to a greased baking dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
  4. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!
