Method
- Melt butter and cook onions until softened and browned, about 15 minutes.
- Whisk cream cheese, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne until smooth.
- Stir in chicken and rice, layer in baking dish, top with onions, and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
- Top with potato chips and bake until bubbly, about 10 minutes. Garnish with chives.
Notes
For extra crunch, add more potato chips on top before baking.
