Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 ounces Egg Noodles
  • 1 pounds Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 ¼ cup Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream

Method

  1. 1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions and set aside. Brown ground beef in a skillet, breaking it into small pieces, until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. 2. Melt butter in the same skillet, then stir in flour to make a roux, whisking continuously for 2 minutes.
  3. 3. Gradually add beef broth, whisking constantly to avoid lumps, and cook until thickened. Then stir in milk and continue cooking until the sauce thickens again.
  4. 4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt, stirring well to combine.
  5. 5. Stir in cooked noodles and browned ground beef until well combined. Reduce heat to low and mix in sour cream until fully incorporated.
  6. 6. Serve hot, paired with your favorite vegetable or garlic toast for a complete meal.

Notes

For an extra creamy sauce, ensure continuous whisking when adding liquids. Serve with steamed vegetables or garlic toast for a balanced meal.
