  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped
  • for serving Zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned, then set aside.
  2. Cook onion and garlic in the same skillet until softened.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until golden, then pour in beef broth and simmer.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return beef to skillet, simmer until heated through and sauce thickens. Serve over zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice, garnished with parsley.
