Method
- Rub fondue pot with garlic.
- Add grape juice and lemon juice, simmer.
- Toss cheese with cornstarch.
- Add cheese to juice, stir until melted.
- Stir in Kirsch, nutmeg, and pepper.
- Transfer to burner to keep warm.
- Serve with bread, vegetables, and apples.
Notes
Use a good quality Gruyere and Emmentaler for the best flavor and melting consistency.
