  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sliced apples with 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon; spread in a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Stir melted butter into dry mixture until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle topping over apples and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
