Apple Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

Canned Goods
  • 2 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Optional Toppings
  • as needed vanilla ice cream for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread apple filling in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix over the filling, then drizzle melted butter on top.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving with ice cream if desired.

Notes

This dessert is best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
