Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 can apple pie filling
Cake
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
Butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
Spices and Nuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread apple filling in a 9x13 inch dish.
  2. Sprinkle cake mix over filling, then drizzle melted butter on top.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts if using. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
  4. Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
