Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread apple pie filling in a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over filling, then pour melted butter on top.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
