Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool cookies on sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
