Method
- Heat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place puff pastry on sheet pan and add three slices of cured beef in the middle.
- Place brie in the middle of the cured beef and score the top with cross hatch marks.
- Add fig jam on top of your brie.
- Wrap brie in the cured beef and add an extra slice on top of the fig jam.
- Wrap like a cheese present in the puff pastry (cut off extra pastry if needed).
- Add egg wash to the outside of the puff pastry.
- Cut a few shallow slits on top of the puff pastry.
- Place in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with crackers or a baguette and enjoy warm!
Notes
For a sweeter flavor, drizzle honey over the brie before wrapping it in puff pastry.
