Method
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture and toss to coat.
- Pour the spaghetti mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the spaghetti is heated through.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a high-quality marinara sauce and whole milk ricotta cheese.
