Method
- Preheat oven to 350ºF and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs until creamy. Gradually add dry ingredients and stir in chocolate chips.
- Optional: refrigerate dough for 24-72 hours for better flavor. Let sit at room temperature before baking.
- Using a cookie scoop, form 3-tablespoon balls and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until golden. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For chewier cookies, refrigerate dough overnight.
