Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in egg, extra yolk, and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet, bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool briefly before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
