Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Cook sausage until browned; drain fat.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  3. Mix bread, sausage, and half cheese into egg mixture.
  4. Pour into greased dish, top with remaining cheese, and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, then cool and serve.
