Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; combine wet ingredients in another.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures; fold in nuts if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 55-65 minutes.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
