Blueberry Dump Cake

A quick and delicious dessert combining fresh or frozen blueberries with a buttery cake topping, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 4 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Cake Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
Butter
  • ½ cup butter, sliced or melted
Optional toppings
  • as desired lemon zest, sugar, chopped nuts, cream cheese Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer blueberries in the dish and sprinkle with optional lemon zest or sugar.
  3. Evenly spread cake mix over the berries without stirring.
  4. Lay butter slices or drizzle melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
