Brie Christmas Trees

Festive and delicious Brie Christmas Trees are the perfect holiday appetizer. Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy brie and sweet cranberry sauce, these treats are sure to impress!

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Spread brie evenly over half of the pastry.
  4. Spoon cranberry sauce over the brie.
  5. Fold pastry over brie and cranberry. Press to seal.
  6. Cut out Christmas tree shapes.
  7. Place trees on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly, then garnish with rosemary and pomegranate.
  11. Serve warm.

Notes

For a sweeter treat, add a drizzle of honey after baking.
