Method
- Bring the salmon to room temperature and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place salmon skin-side down in a baking dish, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, butter, salt, and pepper in a saucepan; heat until smooth (2-3 min).
- Pour sauce over salmon, cover with foil, and bake for 10-25 min. Broil uncovered for 2-3 min for caramelization.
- Rest for a few minutes, then serve with extra sauce and garnish as desired.
Notes
For best results, use fresh salmon and adjust baking time based on thickness.
