Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz penne pasta
Vegetables
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
Dairy
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Condiments
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
Croutons
  • 1 cup croutons
Spices
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Fruits
  • 1 each juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and cool.
  2. Combine chopped romaine and cooked pasta in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss gently.
  4. Add croutons and Parmesan, then toss lightly.
  5. Season with black pepper and lemon juice, then serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add grilled chicken or bacon bits.
