Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Brown beef and diced onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Whisk together soup, milk/broth, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Combine rice, beef mixture, half the cheese, and sauce in the baking dish. Mix well.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Broil for 2 minutes for a crispy cheese topping (optional).
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use beef broth instead of milk. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the beef mixture.
