Ingredients
  

Cheese
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
Meat
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
Pantry
  • 2 cups pasta Rotini recommended
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
Seasonings
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over low heat until crisp. Set aside, reserve drippings, and chop once cooled.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in bacon drippings until cooked through, then cube.
  3. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet, sauté garlic, add flour, then gradually stir in half and half. Add ranch seasoning and cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Combine pasta, sauce, chicken, and top with bacon. Serve warm.

Notes

Customize by adding vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers, and adjust sauce consistency with more half and half if needed.
