Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced or shredded
  • 8 oz whole-grain noodles
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup cheese shredded
  • 1 cup veggies mixed, chopped
  • 1 tbsp herbs fresh or dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles until al dente, then drain.
  2. Mix cooked chicken, veggies, herbs, and cheese in a bowl.
  3. In a saucepan, heat milk and cheese until melted, then combine with chicken mixture.
  4. Combine sauce with cooked noodles and transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

You can add extra veggies or use low-fat cheese for a lighter version.
