Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Wet ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed bananas about 1 1/2 cups mashed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs eggs
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mash bananas and mix with wet ingredients.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes.
  6. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
