Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour and baking soda.
- Cream butter and sugars, then add salt, vanilla, and eggs.
- Gradually mix in flour, then fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes, then portion onto baking sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes, cool, and serve.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on sheets.
