  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup liqueur optional, such as Grand Marnier or Frangelico
  • 1 Pinch salt
Dippers
  • strawberries for dipping
  • bananas for dipping
  • marshmallows for dipping
  • pound cake for dipping
  • pretzels for dipping

Method
 

  1. Combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan or double boiler.
  2. Heat over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in liqueur (if using) and salt.
  4. Pour into a fondue pot or heat-safe bowl.
  5. Keep warm using a fondue burner or simmering water.
  6. Serve with dippers and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate. Adjust the amount of liqueur to your preference.
