Ingredients
  

Sweet Potatoes
  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, maple syrup, milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Spread mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine brown sugar, flour, and butter; mix until crumbly. Stir in pecans.
  5. Sprinkle streusel over sweet potato mixture and bake 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add more pecans or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top before baking.
