Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars for 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, sprinkle with coarse salt if desired, and bake for 10-14 minutes.
- Cool on racks and enjoy!
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake. Store in an airtight container.
