- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Let dough rest for 30 minutes before baking for a better flavor.
