Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Whisk flour and baking soda; set aside.
- Cream butter, sugars, and salt until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time.
- Gradually mix in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake 9-11 minutes until golden.
Notes
For softer cookies, bake for 9 minutes; for crunchier, bake a bit longer.
