Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs lean ground beef or beef/beef blend
  • 1 cup diced onion chopped small
  • 0.75 cup bread crumbs or panko crumbs
  • 0.33 cup milk broth or water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground black pepper
Sauce Ingredients
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Mix ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and tomato paste in a large bowl.
  3. Form a loaf shape and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. Mix ketchup and vinegar, then spread over meatloaf.
  5. Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes or until fully cooked. Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.
