Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 TBSP sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
Additional
  • Butter for the pan butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl, then add eggs and buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
  2. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Pour ½ cup batter onto the pan, cook until edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  4. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve pancakes with butter and maple syrup.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, do not overmix the batter.
