Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. Mix cooked pasta, cottage cheese, marinara, half of mozzarella, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

You can add extra herbs or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for more flavor.
