Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (24 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  3. Layer hash browns in a greased 9x13 inch dish, add sausage, then half of the cheese.
  4. Pour egg mixture over, top with remaining cheese and green onions if using.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
