Ingredients
  

Cranberries
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
Apple
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
Onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries, diced apple, and chopped onion in a saucepan.
  2. Add sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until thickened.
  4. Let cool, then transfer to a jar and refrigerate.

Notes

This chutney pairs well with roasted meats and cheese platters.
