  • 8-10 pounds turkey breast, bone-in and skin-on
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat turkey dry, season with salt and pepper. Sear skin-side down in a skillet with olive oil until golden, then flip and sear other side.
  3. Simmer cranberries, orange juice, brown sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, ginger, and mustard until thickened, 10-15 minutes.
  4. Pour glaze over turkey, transfer to oven, and roast until internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C), about 1.5-2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  5. Rest turkey 15-20 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve with remaining glaze.
