Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread cherry filling in a greased 9x13 inch dish.
- Mix softened cream cheese with vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over cherry filling.
- Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Drizzle melted butter on top.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

This dessert is best served warm, and you can add nuts for extra crunch.
