Cream Cheese Cherry Dump Cake

A quick and delicious dessert combining cherry filling, creamy cheese, and cake mix for an easy treat.

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
Cake Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
Topping
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread cherry filling in a greased 9x13 inch dish.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese with vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over cherry filling.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  4. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

This dessert is best served warm, and you can add nuts for extra crunch.
