Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz penne pasta Cooked al dente
Beef Sauce
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing

Method
 

  1. Cook penne until al dente, reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  3. Brown ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and pasta water until desired consistency. Mix in Parmesan.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with sauce, toss gently.
  6. Serve hot, garnish with Parmesan or parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
