Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 1 lb Sirloin Steak cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Cumin
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
Rice
  • 1 cup Long Grain Rice
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
Cheese
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 4 oz Shredded Queso Quesadilla Cheese
  • 0.25 cup Milk
Garnish
  • 0.25 cup Diced Green Onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season steak strips with chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add steak, and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Add rice and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes, until rice is cooked.
  4. Stir in cream cheese, queso quesadilla cheese, and milk until melted and creamy.
  5. Return steak strips to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the steak seasoning.
