Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
Pasta
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
Cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Garlic
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper, sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4 minutes per side, then rest and slice.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, add heavy cream and simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add reserved pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.
  5. Slice steak, combine with pasta in the skillet, toss to coat, and heat through for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the creamy steak pasta with remaining sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or basil before serving.
