Crispy Mediterranean Chicken Wings in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Wings separated at joints
Marinade
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken wings and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. Cook in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove wings and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before marinating and air frying.
