Crockpot Caramel Apple Dump Cake

A delicious and easy-to-make dessert combining apples, caramel, and cake in a slow cooker for a warm, sweet treat.

Ingredients
  

Canned Goods
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • as needed vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)

Method
 

  1. Spray crockpot with non-stick spray and spread apple filling inside.
  2. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apples.
  3. Mix cake mix with cinnamon and sprinkle over apples and caramel.
  4. Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours until golden and set.
  6. Serve warm with remaining caramel and vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, add more nuts on top before cooking.
