Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Grains
  • 1 cup white rice (uncooked)
Broth & Liquids
  • 2 cups chicken broth
Vegetables
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced carrot, diced
  • 1 stalk celery stalk, diced
Spices & Seasonings
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place chicken, rice, vegetables, and spices in the crockpot.
  2. Pour chicken broth over everything.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken and mix well before serving.
  5. Serve warm, optionally garnished with parsley.

Notes

Ensure chicken is fully cooked before shredding.
