  • 2 pieces medium sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt as needed
  • to taste pepper as needed
  • optional butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, or marshmallows for toppings

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash, dry, and poke holes in sweet potatoes.
  2. Rub with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 45-60 minutes until tender. Cool slightly before serving.
  4. Optional: add toppings like butter, cinnamon, or marshmallows before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or a pat of butter.
