Method
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef until browned, drain grease.
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
- Add broccoli to skillet. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
- Pour sauce over beef and broccoli. Stir well.
- Simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens.
- Stir in green onions.
- Serve over rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
