Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets 6 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger optional
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley or green onions optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger to make the glaze.
  3. Pat salmon dry, season with salt and pepper. Sear skin-side down in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Flip salmon, pour half of the glaze over, then transfer to oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Optional: brush with remaining glaze or pour over before serving. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the salmon for best texture.
