Method
- In a bowl, combine beef, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, and broccoli to the skillet. Cook until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger.
- Return beef to the skillet. Pour sauce over beef and vegetables. Simmer until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
